Our Executive Team
Robert McMichael – CEO
Robert McMichael brings more than 41 years of law enforcement and management experience to the JCS team. Early in his career he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College and a Juris Doctor from Woodrow Wilson College of Law. He then devoted over 20 years to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, where he held the position of chief investigator until he was appointed Sheriff of Fulton County by Governor Joe Frank Harris in 1989.
Three years later, President Bill Clinton appointed McMichael as head U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Georgia, a post he held for eight years. In February 2003, he joined the JCS team. As one of the most respected names in Georgia law enforcement, McMichael brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Judicial Correction Services.
Jarrett Gorlin – President
An experienced entrepreneur and law enforcement officer, Jarrett has launched several successful businesses including a helicopter charter services company. With a passion for community support, he has also dedicated his services to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office since 1996.
Jarrett was the youngest official to be promoted to major, and he currently holds the positions of Air Unit Commander and Assistant Chief of the reserve division. He has logged over 1500 hours of law enforcement training from SWAT to Field Training Officer. A testament to his versatility, Jarrett combined efforts with our Chief Technology Officer to design and implement our unique Probation Tracker software.
Dennis Moon – COO
Known for his drive and savvy, Dennis Moon has initiated numerous projects for JCS from a free GED preparation program in a local office to company-wide employee achievement competitions. Moon attained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and spent time as an Intelligence Analyst and as a Combat Engineer in the US Army, Army Reserves, and National Guard between 1995 and 2001.
In addition, Dennis has been engaged in the probation industry for over 13 years, nearly 10 of which have been in supervision and management. His passion and breadth of experience provide the spark and competence needed for the inventive project management that keeps JCS thriving.
