• Judicial Correction Services will provide a sample probation order for your review and approval. You are free to edit as necessary. Once a final draft is approved, we will print these up in multi-part form for in-court use. JCS is responsible for all printing costs.
• JCS’ Operations Manager will meet with court personnel to review exactly how we
work in a typical operation. Based on this and your specific needs we will develop a working plan for your Court.
• From the very first court date, we will have your court staffed with the trained JCS personnel.

• Offender is found guilty in court, and sentence includes probation.
• File and offender come to see one of the JCS Probation Officers present in court.
• Our Probation Officer completes the order by entering the sentence conditions, fine amount, etc. Court personnel do not have any paperwork to complete.
• The order is explained to the offender and a brief initial intake is done.
• An appointment date is set for the offender.
• Offender is given a copy of the order, order is returned to the bench for signature, the original is placed into the court’s files, JCS retains a copy for it’s files.

• Location is established for offender appointments. Hours structured to be convenient to the court and the offenders we serve.
• All funds received are deposited promptly at a local bank.
• Fines and other money collected will be remitted to the City no less frequently than
once a month. Along with your check, you will receive remittance advice that shows the amount collected, from whom (name and case number).
• An accounting of all activity- financial, offender, case notes, etc will be available to the City (24/7) via a secure Internet site. Reports may also be faxed to the City upon request.
• Internal measurements of our offender management program are continually monitored. JCS will report periodically results to ensure the City’s expectations are being met or exceeded.

Through a secure site, you (or authorized parties) can see up to the minute, accurate data on a single case, caseload, or entire court system. We depart from the typical supervised probation company philosophy in that we believe the data belongs to you, not us. Next we use a fine/fee system that favors the court and the offender. Third we employ a system that greatly reduces the number of sentence modifications a probationer may require. That creates a higher success rate and fewer burdens on your court.
