Our Management Team

Clients today want a probation management company that combines the resources and credibility of a large, established organization with the attentive service of a small firm.

The Judicial Correction Services management team combines more than 25 years in the probation industry, 70 years in law enforcement, and 25+ years in business management. Our extensive experience gives us a unique understanding of offender management, as well as the needs of law enforcement agencies, the courts, and city/county governments.

Robert McMichael
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Robert McMichael brings more than 41 years of law enforcement and management experience to the JCS team. He spent more than 20 years with the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, where he held the position of chief investigator before the governor appointed him as Fulton County Sheriff in 1989. Three years later, President Bill Clinton appointed McMichael as head U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Georgia — a post he held for eight years. In February 2003, he joined the JCS team. As one of the most respected names in Georgia law enforcement, McMichael brings instant credibility to JCS.

Jarrett Gorlin
President and Director

An experienced entrepreneur and law enforcement officer, Jarrett Gorlin is co-founder and president of Judicial Correction Services. Gorlin has started several successful businesses including a helicopter charter services company. After becoming the youngest-rated helicopter pilot in the country at age 16, he followed his love of flying by starting his own helicopter charter service company, where he flew Bell Long Ranger helicopters throughout the Southeast and the Caribbean, performing charter services, aerial surveys, fire fighting and TV news delivery. Gorlin is also a nine-year veteran with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Reserve, where he is the youngest-ever official to hold the rank of Major. As a Georgia Post Certified Peace Officer and Filed Training Officer, he is in charge of training new reserve members who work with the warrant services division in the execution of criminal arrest warrants.

With more than 22 years of law enforcement experience ranging from patrol duties to felony investigations, Dennis Sanders helps bring Judicial Correction Service to the industry forefront. Additional fields of expertise include a commercial fixed wing pilot, licensed coast guard captain and extensive knowledge in electronic surveillance.
